Our new Science Building in full swing

This monumental project took years of hard work, several delays and some extra patience before it became what it is today. As of now, classes are being held in the building like it was meant for. The courses being held are primarily science classes but other teachers have their students learn in the same space. It was recently opened; about a month ago. The opening night ceremony was filled with performances by our various VAPA classes and exhibits of the many subjects being taught elsewhere on the campus. I had an opportunity to participate in that ceremony as a member of my color guard team. We were invited to showcase our 2022 winter show in front of parents, teachers, and peers. But this construction project didn't just take time, it took tons of money. The project was funded by city taxpayers as a multi-school district project to build a new building at all four of our district's main high schools: El Modena, Villa Park, Orange High, and Canyon High.
